It was a hot but beautiful day in May for the wedding of Babs and Paul.  The ceremony and reception both took place at the nature center in Maymont.

I’ve always wanted to do a wedding at Main Street Station.  It’s such a beautiful old building with so much character.  Beth and Dmitri had both their reception and ceremony there.  I loved the way all the chairs where arranged to include all of the wedding party, and it looked so elegant.  With the high ceilings I had to get creative with the light, but really liked how dramatic some of the images came out.

I drove down to the Clifton Inn in Charlottesville, such an adorable little inn, down to all the little details…loved the farm tables in the suite.  Anyways, I photographed the private marriage ceremony of Sean and Aisling.  It was simple and sweet.
